Bright, garden-focused, calm.
Set back from the street in Laguna Niguel with a shaded backyard garden, Sunset Homes is built for residents who find peace outdoors — slower mornings, sunny garden views, and a calm, unhurried pace.
Our light-filled home blends coastal breezes with thoughtful, around-the-clock care. With delicious home-cooked meals, life here centers around comfort and choice. Supported by 24/7 awake caregivers providing both assisted living and memory care, residents enjoy complete peace of mind while aging in place among familiar, friendly faces.

Sunset Homes was built for residents — and families — who want calm over commotion. Tucked away in a quiet, tree-lined residential neighborhood near the El Niguel Country Club, our Laguna Niguel home sits just minutes from coastal breezes and rolling hills, offering a peaceful sanctuary where safety, warmth, and dignity come first.
Inside, bright, naturally lit living spaces welcome families into a home filled with life. Outside, the garden serves as the heart of our community: raised planter beds, shaded seating, and a lovely patio where afternoons unfold gently. Here, days are defined by choice — whether that's tending to plants, enjoying fresh air, or sharing stories over wholesome, freshly prepared home-cooked meals made daily in our kitchen.
Our team specializes in both assisted living and memory care, so families don't have to move a loved one to a new facility if their needs change — they simply transition into a higher level of support within the same home, the same garden, and among the same familiar faces.
Albert's leadership at Sunset Homes is grounded in both high-level science and personal heart. With a background spanning over 20 years in healthcare— complete with a science degree, an MBA, and specialized industry credentials— he previously led health and nutrition companies focused on groundbreaking clinical research in cardiovascular and immune wellness.
But his true calling came from a deeply personal place. After witnessing his mother endure disappointing care in board and care homes, Albert knew families deserved better. He built Sunset Homes to be the warm, high-quality sanctuary he wanted for his own mother. Today, as Licensee and Administrator, that personal mission guides every single decision he makes.
For the safety and privacy of our residents and team, we introduce our full caregiving staff in person — you'll meet the people who'll be caring for your loved one during your visit.
